Bumblebee Conservation Trust manages grasslands to save our bumblebees. Grasslands can be traditional hay meadows, year-round pastures and roadside verges. With each Prairie candle, we are raising money for management of UK grasslands and for the survival of our bees.

Prairie Scent Creation
All ingredients have been selected and hand blended with careful consideration. You can read about the creative design process below.
The Great Outdoors
'Prairie' originates from the Old French word 'praerie' meaning meadow. We decided early on that florals must feature in the scent design as all kinds of blossoms were consistently present across our moodboards.
The variety of wildlife that Prairies offer led us to developing a scent that encapsulates the great outdoors with delicious fruits, heady florals and the aromatic notes of these vast grasslands
Wildflower Meadow
A light fruitiness is there in the top notes with freshly peeled apple skin and French pear, delightfully matched with delicate florals. Mimosa Absolute and Cherry blossom paired with a classic prairie plant, Solidago 'Goldenmosa'.
The sweetness of sugarcane then lifts the scent to evoke sunshine and blue skies. A happy and hopeful fragrance of soft blossoms and rays of sunlight.
Haybales at Sunset
Hay absolute, a natural outdoorsy scent used as a base note in colognes, brings the earthy tone of dried haystacks into the background of this fragrance.
Cedarwood creates a delicate woody note. Cedarwood Atlas (Cedrus Atlantica) is currently endangered globally. In Prairie you will find Cedarwood Virginia which although not classed as a true cedar, is a little greener both in character and for the planet!
